Air Force Update

We've had official news back from the New Zealand Air Force regarding the hubby's application to be a logistics specialist. Unfortunately he did not make it through. 

It's sad that this news has come to light, as we were both starting to look forward to the opportunities and adventures the hubby joining the Air Force would bring to our lives. But as the saying goes "as one door closes another one opens..." (Alexander Graham Bell). 

Now we are looking forward to the future and what other opportunities are out there for us. We're both still young and have many more years ahead of ourselves.  

We're staying optimistic and giving everything loads of thought. Who knows that open door could be just around the corner. 

I'll check back in a few days when we've let this unfortunate news settle and have given more thought to our future and what we'd like to do.
